There is Only the Present Moment

Examining vitality in your life is like taking a close and intentional look at the life force that propels you forward. It involves a deep dive into the various facets of your existence, assessing whether your daily experiences align with your values and contribute to your overall well-being. This reflective process prompts you to ponder what living an abundant life means.

Exploring vitality is about the quality of your engagement with life. This week we'll play with measuring the richness in your life not just in material terms but in the wealth of meaningful connections, purposeful endeavors, and a profound sense of contentment.

This examination serves as a compass guiding you toward a life that resonates with vitality in every aspect.

Living a life of vitality is a profound journey that intertwines the vibrancy of existence with the transformative power of service. The essence of vitality lies in personal well-being and the joyous act of selfless service to others. In the quiet moments of stillness and contemplation, one discovers the depth of their connection to the world. Vitality is not merely a physical state but a holistic embrace of acceptance and surrender to the ever-changing currents of life. Through service, rooted in genuine compassion, that one finds enduring joy and purpose. The interplay of stillness, contemplation, acceptance, and surrender becomes the harmonious melody guiding individuals toward a life of vitality—a life where the self is enriched through the act of enriching others and where the spirit thrives in the dance of interconnectedness.

The Inspiration For This Lesson:

"Not being satisfied in the now. Its mundane nature, its criticism and relentless dissatisfaction often gives an erroneous impression of its value and importance. 58, the fuel of this Stream of Taste, is the gate of Vitality. It is literally the zest for life and the energy, and this is its key, for 'a better life'. Criticism is a natural by-product of this improvement energy. Betterment is founded on conditioning both social and moral. This gate is the vitality to challenge that conditioning and to improve upon it." - Ra Uru Hu, Gate 58: The Joyous, The Gate of Vitality

The natural path from dissatisfaction to joy is to be of service to others with vitality.
