Session 19 Lesson

CONTROL AS SERVICE

Respecting the Leader Within

This week is an opportunity to explore the depths of Gate 21, the Biting Through gate, and its connection to Gate 48.  We'll delve into the transformation of control, the shadows and gifts within, and ultimately, how it leads to the heroic state of Valour.

From the Grip of Control:

Our journey begins with the shadow aspect of Gate 21 – control.  This isn't about domination, but a deep desire to ensure the well-being of the group. Imagine a skilled hunter strategizing the hunt, not just for the kill, but to ensure everyone eats.  However, control can become a prison, leading to a constant battle for territory, power, and money.

This control often stems from fear – fear of losing control of our lives, our relationships, our success.  The shadow of Gate 48, Inadequacy, fuels this fear, making us feel we can't trust life itself.  We become submissive, letting others control us, or reactive, controlling everything around us.  Neither path leads to true fulfillment.

Stepping into Authority:

The gift of Gate 21 lies in Authority.  It's the ability to inspire loyalty through leadership that serves, not controls.  This authority is a delicate balance between allowing things to unfold and taking charge when needed.  It's about intention, not hierarchy.

True authority comes from a place of love, not fear.  It's the leader who understands the needs of the group and empowers them to contribute their best.  Think of a master and their student – a relationship built on mutual respect and growth, not dominance and submission.

The Pinnacle: Valour

The ultimate expression of Gate 21 is Valour, a state of peerless nobility.  It's the courage to surrender completely, to lay down your entire being for a higher ideal.  Think of a hero sacrificing themself for a cause greater than themself.

Valour recognizes the divine spark in everyone, fostering a deep sense of communion.  It's the bowing of one being to the nobility within another.  This requires facing our own fears of control and loss, understanding that true nobility cannot be tarnished.

Living the Journey This Week:

This week, explore your relationship with control.  Are you in control, or are you letting fear control you?  Practice leading with service, inspiring others with your vision.  Seek out situations where you can act with courage and integrity.

How we each experience the themes of gate 21 is very dependent on our unique designs.

Control as Service: Gate 21's control is not for personal gain, but to serve and protect the tribe (community). It ensures the material needs are met and allows for leisure and societal advancement.

The Power of the Ego: A strong Ego is necessary for Gate 21 to function effectively. However, this Ego can be uncomfortable for both the carrier and those around them. Gate 21's need for control is often misinterpreted as dominance or manipulation.

Expression Depends on Design: How Gate 21 manifests depends on the individual's Human Design. Generators can only take control when responding to requests, Projectors require recognition from others that you have to be in control, and Manifestors must ask permission before controlling.

Undefined Heart centers may struggle to control and they must wait to be offered control. Both Defined and Undefined Egos with gate 21, need to be allowed to exercise control and earn respect for their abilities.

When we do not allow people with gate 21 to control, we are harming them and taking the power of who they are away.

Remember, the path from control to authority to valour is a journey.  By embracing the lessons of Gate 21 and Gate 48, you can become a leader who inspires, a force for good in the world.

The Inspiration For This Lesson

"It is a gate that often creates a lot of problems because it is the only gate that is designed to be a controlling gate. It can only be a controlling gate because it has the most powerful Ego. The fact that it is a controlling gate, the fact that it is a powerful Ego is legitmate. In other words, this controlling force is necessary in order to be able to serve and protect the tribe. The 21 is here to serve the community. It is here to establish for the community what is viable, what works. It is here to make sure that the community has what it needs. The food and shelter that it needs, the work that it needs. It is here to make sure that there is reward for those efforts, that society not only works but has time for leisure. In other words, it is there to look after the needs of humanity living together on the material plane. It is the channel of Materialism. Because the 21 is a control gate, it is also very difficult for people and often extremely difficult for the 21’s themselves. Above the lines it says, The justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference. The justified and necessary use of power – these are very strong words, you will not hear that kind of language in any other gate - in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference. In other words, it is not there to overcome unintentional interference. It is not there to overcome interference that is not non-persistent. But it is there to be in control. It is justified in the use of its power. This is the Ego that must strike out." - Ra Uru Hu

"If you have the 21st Gift in your hologenetic profile and you speak and act from your heart, you will inspire loyalty in others wherever you go. Authority is the true vibration of this 21st Gene Key when it has found that delicate balance between allowing things to go their own way and assuming control of the way things are going. Authority is a frequency that is determined by intent. If you assert authority through the hierarchical base of the 21st Shadow, then you rule through control and fear, which never inspires true loyalty. In such cases, the people around you may appear loyal, but given the right circumstances they will quickly and easily transfer their loyalties elsewhere. True loyalty can only be maintained when the frequency of love outweighs the frequency of fear. Such people are given authority by others, and this is the real meaning of authority. Authority cannot be asserted through will. It can only be afforded through trust." - Richard Rudd
